Matt Burgess and Miss Terri Ford
MATT BURGESS is the critically acclaimed author of Dogfight, A Love Story, a Barnes & Noble Discover Great New Writers pick, Indie Next selection, and New York Times Editors’ Choice. A graduate of Dartmouth and the University of Minnesota’s MFA program, he grew up in Jackson Heights, Queens. His second novel, Uncle Janice, is forthcoming from Doubleday in January of 2015.
MISS TERRI FORD is a graduate of the MFA Program for Writers at Warren Wilson College. She’s been a fellow at Bread Loaf Writer’s Conference, a summer resident of the Fine Arts Work Center in Provincetown through the Ohio Arts Council, and the recipient of several grants. Her poems have appeared in Ploughshares, Conduit, Forklift Ohio and many other journals. She is the author of “Why the Ships Are She” (Four Way, 2001) and “Hams Beneath the Firmament” (Four Way, 2007). She once made a friend laugh so hard that her tampon fell out.
